Tina Ngo is a film programmer, writer, and organizer. Her work explores materialism, surrealism, and the role of the unconscious in cinema. She currently programs at the Philadelphia Film Society and publishes Symposium and the City, a project dedicated to film and ideology. She has been active in community organizing for over a decade and serves on the conference organizing committee of The Society for Peace, Internationalism, and Ecology (SPINE). As an ardent cat lover, she volunteers with local animal rescue groups to practice trap-neuter-release or foster community cats.
